I haven't been up there yet this year, but last year on June 18th, it looked like this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/mordechaivanunu/170036675/

So my best guess would be that the ice is off by now. Joe Wright and Barnes Meadow are both open and I believe that Agnes is the same or lower elevation.

Agnes is 10,600, Joe Wright 10,100 and Barnes Meadow is at 9100...I didnt realize there was an upper Agnes Lake that just has cutthroats in it...Agnes reminds me of Giles Alkire...he spoke fondly of there...but not of the surrounding rocks in a lightning storm...

L Agnes should be open. I've been fishing a lot higher than that and everything was open. Hint: pack a float tube up the short trail to the lake. Caught a 22" rainbow there 2 summers ago on a black woolly bugger on a sinking line. Good luck! John
