Terre will go in with you for half!...with the one being dropped off in front of her house tonight...it will give her a nice round number of 47.5 boats...

Zman you are wrong!

I own a half of a boat in Michigan already. If I went in on another half that would make it a whole would it not?

It depends on if the halfs match up. Is the half you own in Michigan an eighteen footer?

I'll do it. As far as the time share goes, I'll take it April through September and you can use it the other six months of the year.

You know at first it sounds like a great idea, but you will find as I did that it is better to own it yourself. I owned a boat with other people before and these were close friends and related.

Problem #1: Each person wants to go to a different lake, etc.

Problem#2: It's all fine and dandy when the boat is running fine, but when it goes down and is going to cost hundreds of dollers, you'll hear "well I won't have time to use it much this year" or something of that nature. Then when it's fixed, well you know.

Problem#3: Each person wanted to bring additional friends, etc. and next thing you know it's not exactly who you wanted to hang out with all week end.

Just a bad idea, trust me. Save the money and buy it yourself.

I'd only buy half a boat as long as it was the half that floats!

I could help buy about a 1 inch square of carpet.
