Default timing

ok so i have been fishing for cats lately and seemed to notice a time pattern but i am not sure if its correct (so let me know what you have observed) whenever i am out i will hit the lake around sundown. i get some little bites then but nothing that wants to comitt. then at about midnight i will start catching things, this usualy lasts until two. then it stops until morning. why is this and is it the same for all of u guys? maybe i am doing something wrong?

I used to notice something similar when I was night fishing in PA, from 10pm to 1am then it would stop dead at 1. OUt here, I have not noticed any pattern. I've been picking them up at all hours of the day and night.

Default Re: timing

It happens all the time... thats why those fishing charts show "best times" for fishing.
