Default Lake John

I am skipping work on friday (the 27 th My birthday) to go fishing on my pontoon . I was wanting to see if any one has a report on Lake John. Any help would be great. ON the 28 th I will be fishing Joe Wright , and on the 29 th* I will fish the Poudre all the way home. I will enter a report when I get back.

Don't have a first hand report but did talk w/my sister at length as she and her husband went up sat/Sun and were baitfishing from shore both days.
Mostly Powerbait & Nitro Bait used with only one fish caught (16") on the Nitro.
Also fished Cowdrey but very difficult from shore due to heavy shoreline weedgrowth, with no fish.

North Park, just outside of Walden. Near Delany Buttes.

A pretty good and honest guy for info is at High Country Sports in Walden(Jeff). I don't have his number you could look it up online. He is more accurate as The Lake John Resort will always tell you it is great to get you up there regardless.
