Default Neat looking lakes up the Comanche Wilderness

On the map, Hourglass Reservoir, Comanche Reservoir, and Browns Lake all look way promising. Out in the middle of nowhere, but trails to all of them. Anyone know anything about these gems??They are in Roosevelt National Park.

Those look like some lakes I might try next summer if I can get into fly fishing or a long walk to go ice fishing.

i have fished or access most of these lakes in that region over the past few years. one problem is access early - of course. but most are nice lakes, but can like all lakes fish very spotty. a few are easy enough to belly boat them if you don't mind humping your gear.

hourglass is my fav.

the best month was august and then september. but orad access to get close locks down sooner than you'd expect.
