Default Any Walleye action at all????

I am going to hit Boyd this weekend and would love nothing more than to pull an eye through the ice. Has anybody had any success or luck pulling Wallys out this year?
Years ago (back in the early 90's) we use to pull them out in the winter time, but it has been a long time since I have heard or seen people getting them at boyd.
Any info would be helpful.

I have been to Boyd 4 times this winter and not one walleye. Have tried both deep and shallow. Also I think the lake is trying to kill me the first time there burnt a hole in my hut second time kicked my ice scoop into the hole so if you catch one its mine and on Sunday was walking back to the car and slipped on the ice and about knocked myself out. I think I will try Gross this weekend God's nows what would happen if I went back to Boyd. :P

sorry bout your luck at Boyd. I use to have the same crap happen to me at Dowdy years ago......just about quite going there. Would love to hit Glendo on the ice one day, but probably wont happen anytime soon.
It's amazing that Boyd is so full of Wally's but so tough to catch them in the winter. It's like that lake turns into a Lonetree and you have to be there at exactly the right time and day or it just will not happen. If I get anything I will post it.
Thanks.

They seemed to be well fed. They disappeared once the shad showed up this fall, no small coincedence. I can still see shad swimming on my camera if I raise it in the water column. They don't need your measily offerings right now, would be my best guess. I'm thinking they will be in good shape for their spawn this spring though. I'll keep looking tomorrow as well, but don't have a lot of faith in finding them, let alone coercing them into action. I do think if a guy were to night eye fish, you may at least find them in your area. Been really wanting to try that as I have a pretty good idea where they might show up.

I like boyd because the panfish there tend to be almost as big as large kitchenware.
