Some like to hook them through the lips and others through the dorsal fin. Try them both man!

I just use a 5 gallon bucket 3/4 full or water and keep them cold but not froze. Inside/Outside or maybe in the garage. Change the water out now and then seems to work well for me in the winter time. Every now and then I will freeze them to death but oh well I like supporting the local bait shops.

i like to hook mine just before the tail. also I've been adding my drinking water from at home. As long as it does not have chroline in it they will survive.

I keep mine in a bait bucket with an aerator in my spare refrigerator.

They will last for a couple weeks.
