Default Starving Perch?

I hope my pic comes up, I wanted to show this perch that I caught. Its head is slightly larger than it should be for the body size, the stomach is drawn up, and I did not see a stomach in the stomach cavity.

Didn't find a picture. Reminds me of a Bass I caught years ago in Kansas. Long, skinny, and a big head. It had a ball of aluminum foil in its stomach.

Hey Ron, I just shot you a pm. I'll be happy to help you post the pic.

The mods will likely move this topic as it's not a fishing report, but I'll be happy to post it for you - and in your report.

Rob

Thanks for the help Rob. I sent the email, hopefully the pic was attached. My son-in-law (baetisrun1) is going to help me this evening with the pic thing. Thanks again, RonD

That perch does look a little anorexic. Strange!

The fillets were so thin I tossed them. No meat on that fish.

They don't spawn under the ice, probably a hungry male.
