Default What tackle/lures/gear do you plan to try in 2008???

I have been looking at my Bass Pro Master Catalog every night after my wife falls asleep...I hide it under the bed

There are so many soft plastics and things in there that I have never tried. I have a couple hundred $$ in gift cards from Christmas and my birthday next week so I am planing an assult on that place. Here are a few things on my list- I would be interested to know what else other people are planning on trying this season. (I am a bass guy so my list is not very diverse)

Giggy Head Jig:

Carolina Rig Short Cut:

Lucky Craft Pop-R:

BPS Lazer Blade:

BPS Freestyle Jig:

Bubble Craw:

Doozie Tube:

Floating Worm:

Giggy Lizard:

Of course I am sure I will pick up a few additional lures to add to the list from you guys

- x-raps, bunches of them. I gotta try this new shad rap x-rap too.

- lots of flies as always, although I'll hopefully be tying a ton more now.

- I'll look into these boo jigs.

- maybe get a baitcaster

- maybe get a new fly reel

- I'm sure there's a ton more.

My fly rod (Alot more...) I'd like to move up to horrible (from the skill level I'm at.. )

Rapala sub walks

There's a guy on here that really likes RoadRunners . . . I can't remember who... I actually like Roadrunners too, and chatterbaits, so the Blakemore version of the chatterbait...

Maybe some more musky gear, I really want to catch a Tiger this year..

Hopefully a sit on top kayak when that rebate comes in May.

Those floating worms look pretty cool. They would be awesome for walleyes on a carolina rig.

I also like the bubble craws.

I just bought some lindy shakey rigs that I would like to try.

Funny you should ask! I just got home with my first Baitcasting setup. The first few backyard casts have been as I expected...total disaster. At least I have a while before open water and I hope I can get this down. :P
