Default pueblo conditions for 2/1 a little late updated 2/5

being out of touch for a week this will be short and i will update it soon, the water level is 4871.37 as of last monday, the week before was 4869.41 for an increase of 1.96. an increase of almost 2 feet is awesome at this time of year. i saw a pic in our local paper of the lake with a lot of ice, so i will try and git down to the lake tomarrow for a currect ice report. i will post a report in off topic on the trip we took as soon as i git the pics together

They showed snowpack for the year so far. The entire state is over 100% of normal. The eastern plains are a bit above 100% with the southwest corner at about 175%

I hope this keeps up for the next 5 or 10 years!

Welcome back Byron and Mike.
Hope you had a great trip, and looking forward to hearing about it.
Thanks also for the P-Lo report. Looking to get down to the lake next week with my sister and well look for your report on the boat ramp/ice situation.
Al

i went down to the lake this morning and the n.marina is open, i did see a patch of floating ice, about 100yds x 40yds so you need to watch out for that kind of danger and when the ice melts it is going to release a bunch of drift wood, so high speed running will be hazardous. the next time i go out i will try to git some pics for you. i couldn't git a good look of the lake because of the snow, but what i did see looks like there wont be any islands showing and the long point in front of the north end of the dam is under water, at sail board beach you can only go about 60 yds after going through the gate

THAT IS SO AWESOME! I love it when the lake is high. Haven't seen it in about 7 years though! I am going to fish my arse off this year!
