Default Best Thomas Buoyant colors.

Buying tackle for some ponds on a family ranch. Generally very large trout. What are the best colors for Thomas Buoyant? Never used them but hear they are good. Want the kids to have a good time.

#1- Gold with the red, black, and yellow dots.
#2- Rainbow
#3-silver
They work best worked slowly. Stop reeling often and let drop.

Slayer probably fishes them as much as anyone, so I'd take his advice...

You might also want to pick up some Little Jakes...White with black dots and White with Red dots. Work them the same way. Reel let them flutter, reel and let them flutter.

Gold and red by far. I call the small one Little Red, and it is a must for any trout fisherman. Although I dont like the new diamond hammered version as much as the old unhammered version. Rainbow would be my next choice. I've only had luck with the smaller models.
