Default I-70 Closed Again...so much for Fishing/Skiing

Looks like those 60mph winds are in effect again on I-70, headed up today for some skiing and fishing but now that might change. Doesn't that always happen when you have the weekend off crap happens~

If the weather permits, according to the news this morning at least...it might be open for a window today, then it's going to get shut back down because the winds and snow will pick back up tonight up there.

They said it's closed until they can do avalanche control and they can't do that until the wind dies, which doesn't appear like it will happen until tomorrow sometime.

Eastbound just opened up for a bit to try and clear some of the major traffic out of there. They want to keep it clear for plowing and accident issues. West is still shut down, I believe, and east should shut back down when they get some more motorists off the road.

Can't go west on I-70 because of weather....can't go north on I-25 because of a water main break...I guess it's either south, northeast, or in town for me this weekend.

Also beware of anywhere along the front range thru tomorrow they are calling for 25-35 mph winds with gusts hitting 50+, with snow further into the mountains. From what I saw the warning was from denver all the way to wyoming.
