I saw it on tv and thought was kind of cool but i get sucked into all the gear on tv and want to buy it. So what do u think? is it a gimmick?

With all the new crud that is always coming. Its always funny when you see as seen on tv. Watch out for gimmicks!! just like the set ups for the fishing shows.

i personally would skip on this for that price. give it a year or so and you will find it at walmart discounted to 4 bucks. i bought a starter pack of chatterbaits a couple of weeks ago for that.

If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. I'm leery of any product that claims to be proven on such a wide variety of species.

I remember when the Banjo Minnow came out. And I thought that was the greatest thing since sliced bread. Wow was I wrong. That thing did not work all that great. The only thing I caught was a 2lb bass and I twitched that thing everyway possible for months.

Don't buy it. Save your money on baits that are proven. Like dynamite!!!!!

The banjo is still a vital accesory to my line up. I know a lot of people dont like them though. IMO a Senko or a Johnny Motto does the trck just as good as the banjo does
