Default Fishing Tip of the Day 2-11

Tired of reapplying scent to your plastic worms? Pour a splash of scent into a plastic bag, throw in the worms, and put the bag in the microwave antwhere from 10-20 seconds. Be careful not to cook them for too long or they will melt.

This is very interesting, I never thought to do this. Then again you could just buy scented worms in the first place.

But not a bad tip for the worms that have no flavor or ones you can test with your own "invented" flavoring or scents.

In the clear colorado water, my understanding is that the predatory fish, like bass, use sight and vibration more than scent to hunt, whereas murkier water scent comes highly into play.

You bass guys know better than me...is that true? I don't think I even own any scented plastics unless I don't know it.

My understanding is that it helps a lot when a fish grabs it then drops it, they are more apt to try and grab it again if it has flavor?

Im sorta with you Phil, I'm not really sure, and I know someone on here will probably know better.
