Default downrigger help

iI have a tracker tundra and would like to put my downriggers on it but the gunwhales are rounded and the mounting plates are flat,any ideas? thanks

all of the mfg. have a clamp on mt. or a pedistal mt that is 6 or 12 inchs high that could be mounted on a seat

I not familiar with you boat but have mounted down riggers on numerous boats and sceen them mounted on a bunch more can you post a pic of your boat, and were you want them mounted on the boat i think that would be the best way for us to help you.

I'm gona guess that you will need to fabricate some kind of bracket don't worry it's supper eassy to do and will work great i can walk you righ thru it. Just need a pic of were you want to mount it.

I don't like drilling holes each time I add something or change something so I use gimble mounts. They work well and if you don't want to use downriggers, you have a couple extra rod holders. If you don't have Stainless Steel flush mounts, get quality ones that will stand up to the extra stress of downriggers.

i like the gimble mount idea. i think i saw a set up like that in cabelas, but i already have 4 rod holders on the boat, i wonder if the holes will match up? thanks a bunch
