Default gander mountain question

i know some of you work at gander mountain so i have a question for you. i stopped in at the thorton store today hoping to buy some swedish pimples. the supply they had was pathetic, so when i inquired about this i was told they were trying to get rid of what was left and would not stock anymore till fall. my question is is this true? and if it is are the people that run the store so out of touch that they percieve them to be a winter time bait only, i hope not! can anyone tell me were i can find a decent supply of them.

unfortunately they only have so much room, and in general there are other baits that way outsell the pimps come open water.

take advantage of this and buy up a supply when they close them out. and for the rest of your needs, you will likely have to order them.

they do better then wallmart, thats for sure

Say it ain't so! Last time I went to SW at SW Littleton, they had every color and size except the ones I wanted. This was not just the Swedish whatevers, but the Kastys, and (dudes! seriously!!!) white tubes jigs. PEOPLE WHO RUN OR ARE IN CHARGE OF LURE SELECTION AND REORDERING ON SAME IN A MAJOR STORE THAT CATERS TO FISHERMAN.........when you bright people take inventory, and see that one certain color or size of any particular lure is gone,..Here is a hint..... order more!! And not just for the ice season. When the silver/holocast kastmasters are hot, and people are buying them left and right, figure it out, and get more in! Jeez! And I want a gas replacement cap for my auger. And a jetsled to haul around my shit! It is still the ice season! We still have a month to go! Why are you out? I don't care if you have 3000 senkos in every color imaginable. I will scarf up on those when the time is right! The time ain't right!

It's all about what sells, Swedish Pimples do not sell well in the open water period.

You are so right Ed, especially about the Sportsman's SW. They had rainbox X-raps in stock for like 2 weeks last summer. The other one they NEVER have is the tazzies in the pink. They finally stocked them, then I bought them all, so now they are out! You are also so right on the Kastys. I finally just stopped even looking to see if they have what I need, because they NEVER do. What about panther martins and mepps. Same deal. The colors that work are not available when you want to buy.

Sucks having to buy stuff in the winter that you aren't going to use until fall. Knumb-skulls!
