Default Float tube fins

So I havn't used my tube since last years Tube N toon and it pretty much sucked with the flippers that come with the setup. The guys with scuba flippers were running circles around me with ease......

So I'm looking to spend under $40 for some flippers and I've found two sets, both recreations swimming type flippers. One at wal-mart is listed as a travel type and the flipper goes forward about 7" in front of the toes. The others at Dicks go out about 10" in front of the toes. Which one would you guys get, or are there other options. I went to underwater connections in the springs and god are the flippers expensive.

Based on a $40 price range, I would get Thrusters. They are big, cheap, not too heavy. I can show you mine at the T&T.

If I didn't need them by saturday, I'd just order these.....wish I would have thought sooner....if push comes to shove, I'll just be stuck with the plastic ones that I got with the tube.

Not a bad idea, but I think I'm a little late for that one, my schedule is full until saturday morning.....I'll see what I can find tomorrow in the springs.

I got a pair of el-cheapos from Sports Authority and that's what I was using last year, they worked great.
