Default Gross Res?

Heading up there this weekend w/ another guys that's never been there either, so as of now, it's going to be the blind leading the blind.
We'd like to get into some kokes. The map I found isn't great, but by looking at it, it looks like S. Boulder Creek is the main inlet, and in the SW corner of the lake. Is this the case? Can a guy drive to Osprey point and hike in?
I cab or should I just hike in to the n't decide wether to take the canoe or just hike to the inlet and shore fish? Hand launched boats don't have to be launched from one main place do they?

The most important question: Anybody have a koke update for Gross?

Thanks ahead guys and hopefully I'll have a good report Monday to share.

There is only one good spot to launch your boat and that is at Osprey. The rest of the shorline is way to steep and rocky. The hike to the inlet is simply called "Inlet Trail". This trail starts at the picnic table at Osprey Point. No word on the kokes yet. Let me know.

Only one legal spot to launch from unless its a Kayak. But yes this is the last weekend for water craft at Gross. The Kokes are probably not running well yet. Normally the second week of Oct is good. Then park at the inlet parking lot and huff it in. The only bad part is carrying them out! Especially if you limit out.

Try Green MTN or the Cheese but deal with the crowds.

Was also there on Sunday fished the inlet and only saw a bunch of Juveniles. I eventually moved to another spot and finished up the day with an 18 inch laker. SLOWWWWW
