I am just wondering. I think this is a very good question. In my experiences for size and numbers it would have to be the alligator farm by mosca. What is your opinion?

John Martin Spillway after that, someone is probably putting me on their list for this one... Adams County Fairgrounds good numbers and if you hit it just right some good size ones.

I know...But, I'm not telling... You did say numbers and size.

However Trinadad is fantastic as an alternate choice...

Seems like the bigger cats this year came on nights where the bites were few and far between.........................and the small cats came in numbers to the point where you can't even fish 2 poles. I'm not sure I know of a local place where you can't fish 2 poles because you're catching 5 + pound cats consistantly.

With the fall pattern upon us............the cats should be schooling in big lakes and staging near their wintering holes...................you may get into great schools in the lakes you've been fishing down there.

Colorado River from Grand Junction below. Takes time to get a monster, but 30 pounders lurk. I have almost two dozen over ten pounds in my lifetime. Numbers are great in the good holes.
