Why is the DOW conducting inspections on bodies of water already known to have zebra/quagga mussels?
Why are they inspecting the boats on the way in? They should be inspecting the boats on the way out to ensure that the mussels don't spread to the other lakes in the area.
Shouldn't they be inspecting all of the lakes besides the ones already known to have the invasive mussels? Inspecting boats going into lakes already known to have the invasive mussels is a waste of time and money. If they really want to do something, try keeping the mussels from getting to the other lakes.
I know, I'm preaching to the choir. Have I missed something obvious here?
