Default Cold Front Effect on Bass Fishing

I have off tomorrow and have planned on fishing for bass (Horsetooth probably - never been there). Still learning - so, what effect will this cold front have on the bass? If not Horsetooth, my friend and I will look for somewhere else relatively close along the front range. Any suggestions? THANKS!

If Horsetooth doesn't produce............I'd hit some of the many bass ponds between north Ft. Collins and Loveland. The water in the ponds may be a tad warmer and possibly have more active fish. To avoid a skunk.........you may try for trout at Carter with hardware or common trout baits.

Fished Horsetooth yesterday from 11:00-16:00. My friend and I caught 9 Smallmouths. Smallest being about 3 inches - largest 12 inches. Fished on the northern dam using Kastmasters. We flipped them out as far as possible, let them sink to the bottom, then slowly reeled them in. Nothing else in the tacklebox worked.
Water IS way down. Watch it skipping over the rocks on the dam. A dislocated thumb and badly bruised shins didn't slow down the fun day of fishing! But did teach an old fart to slow down! There was NO ONE else on the lake all day - that we could see.

Whoa man!!! You are so lucky the feds didn't hall you off to jail and leave you with a nice fine. The dams are off limits to pedestrians since 9/11................it's bull but I haven't walked on the dams in years. Lucky man!! Wouldn't chance it again though.
