Go to Cheesman or Dillon

-give the guy a break

note: If you posts reports from your fishing trips people are more likely to help you, you have been a member almost a year and only 2 post and both questions for help.

Hey Ya'll! No advice, but good luck! I have yet to catch my 1st Salmon anywhere. Has anyone mentioned Carter Lake? Or was someone just jerking my chain? BOTTOM FEEDER

I think I'll hit the Cheese tomorrow. It's just been too good. I don't snag myself, but I've heard it's been really good early morning at the inlet. Personally, I've done well away from the inlet too. I think the fish are more silver the farther you get away from the inlet, so their meat will be firmer. Good luck if you go!

Thanks for the report(We really appreciate it!!!)... Cheeseman is a pretty cool place. Some people think that it looks crappy because of all the burnt trees and such however I think it gives it character and makes it look more unique.

Now About "everyone else that had some crappy things to say to me"
Which Quite honestly I was one of those people.

Don't knock it 'til you've tried it! You've got the hike, the scenery; hands torn up from rocks, hooks and catching/cleaning fish. Back, arms and neck sore from carrying gear and fish not to mention hoisting fish after fish like an old time tuna fisherman. There is some skill involved; those who go know that you aren't guaranteed to come back with any fish at all much less your full limit. And when it's all done, you have bags of tasty vacuumed-packed smoked fish to show for it. It's a blast.
