Default Fish Finder Question...

Looking to upgrade my fish finder on my boat.
After doing some research, the Hummingbird 525 has some interest.

Anyone with input or thoughts?

Get the most power and resolution you can buy. I have heard decent things about the birds, but I use lowrance in my boat.

he's not so much a Lowrance snob that he wasnt thinking of buying one of my birds. i got two of them and love them. if you have the money get a 787 or higher with gps. i got nothing agains Lowrance though. they are all good finders and get the job done if you take the time to learn how to use them.

I have the 565 and love it, although I don't boat fish and use it a ton, it has been reliable, easy to use, very valuable at night fishing, everything I need for a basic unit

Not sure what the differences are between the 565 and the 525 though
