Default gross reservoir muskies

heading up to gross reservoir today... going to osprey point and walking west to the inlet area... has anyone had any luck muskie fishing in that area of the lake recently... i have some big plastic swimbaits, big jointed rapala's (the shad body saltwater ones), big spinnerbaits, big topwaters and a ton of medium to large size soft plastics

i hear that throwing pink or red is good because of the kokanee that run up the inlet

i may have to hit up Tabor on the way home and try to get some hungry fall lmb

Dang, well bummer about those muskies.  I don't think anyone has them "dialed in" so to speak.

found a few areas that seemed promising... flats that dropped straight into deep water which i have been taught is prime musky ambush territory... going to get a good topo before i head out again.

has anyone had any luck here swimming giant 7" grubs like pete mania does up north?

Too bad on no muskies... some people say there is a state record in there.

I have encountered tiger musky on that lake on a couple of occasions both times with no success. I think they are picky eaters but the one I saw was uber huge probably around no joke 4+ feet. I was lobbing lures at him and one time acutally hit him but he did not take anything. I used a big old copper spoon and another time I used those castic rainbow swimbaits I think it was the 6 inch version, but to no success. It was scary cause he was acutally in the sand of the shore!!! I was walking and he flopped and swam a little ways out-crazy stuff! I have not seen any tiger musky by or around the inlet though but the area where it is sandy and sloped down right above where you park on the south side I have.
