Default Jefferson Res.

Has anyone been up to Jefferson Res lately. If so, it is freezing up yet I want to get the boat on one more time this year or hit the ice in a few weeks if it is freezing!

Jeffer is very deep and will take some time to freeze. MAYBE in 2 weeks will be ice fishable. I'll be there!

I was talking to the bait shop owner at jefferson. the lake is still wide open and south park didn't get anything for snow.

We went up on 10-24. 27 temp. at 715 am.Hand carried a 15 foot alum. boat down with my two boys. Do not have a electric motor so I thought I would row. Inlet had about 1-2 inch ice, out to 40-50 feet from shore. Wind picked up.... Big mistake to row. I have some pictures but do not know how to post.
