Any guesses when the last boat can get on the lake? I hope Dec-1

I don't think it is totally frozen over till near the first of the year.

When they can't find a ranger who will stand out there in the feezing cold checking your boat for Zebra's and other mussels. Just like Chatty it will close Dec 31st.

Chatty is closing about 30 days before that this year

I usually see fishable ice around the end of December at Williams Fork (caution all the way across the lake). I'm sure Granby will have good ice around the 15th of January....soft and thin in spots though.

That deal at chatfield for boaters is a bad one. It was the parks director call as to when... & why? money to station the mussels gaurd. Should have to pay back 30 days on the parks pass when the water is wide open. I could go buy a beer or a 1/2 dozen worms.
