Default Boulder Res-walleyes

Now that my high mountain lake season is over I am thinkin about doing some fishing at Boulder Res. I havent spin fished in a couple years but I am thinking of going after some walleyes at the res since its close to my house. Any idea on if the bite will be any good this time of year? Also any tips on what to use would be great since I usually fly fish for trout!

Should be good in the deeper water near rip rap. The ice bite should be good too, if it's open (which I think it is).

Hey, LUNKERKING-

Ignore IceInTheBrain. He's never even been to Boulder!

Boulder Res. has a good population of walleyes, including some very nice fish, but the guys who know it well don't talk about it. A secretive lot they are!

thanks for the info. just trying to decide if its worth a try this time of year. any particular depth I should try and find? Im thinking a jig off the bottom, based upon past walleye success I had back east.
