Default pueblo chickens 1/31

mike came down this morning and after a good breakfast at the hen house we went to the lake and with the wind blowing about 25 mph and the water at 38 deg we chickened out. all we did was look at the west end and found the ice has moved west about 400 yards in a week, it is almost to turkey creek now. at this rate it will be an early open water bite at the west end

I'm with ya both. I almost took off to the DS, but got called to an emergency assignment. so no go. I thought I was done with that, but they just called back and sent me back to Ordway...no fishing for me...wind or not.

You made the right decision WS. It was very windy until late afternoon; it's just not worth it under those conditions.
