It would depend where in littleton you are. If you are in NE than 25. If you are in the Chatfield area than 285

depends where in littleton. i live off of mineral and santa fe and i always go down 85 to 25 to 24. if you lived right off of hampden then 285 might be quicker.

what time of day will you be driving? traffic on 25 in the springs can suck. if you avoid traffic though the trip goes fast.

did the whole mapquest thing.

it says from I-25 and hampden down 285 to hartsel is 99 miles, 1 hour and 53 minutes.

from I-25 and hampden through the springs and then onto 24 to Hartsel is 125 miles, 2 hours and 17 minutes.

I-25 through the springs is opened up now. the construction is finished and speed limit is 65 through town from briargate(on the north) to south academy(Ft. Carson). there's a stretch northbound around Rockrimmon where they are doing some work. It slows to 45 and the right lane is closed

But you're not going to Hartsel .... you're going to 11 Mile

Hartsel is another 26+ miles from Lake George , Then you'd have to backtrack another 12 - 15 or so miles to 11 Mile depending where you want to fish.

The turnoff to 11 Mile off of Highway 24 is the west edge of Lake George , then 10 or so minutes over the hill that drops into 11 Mile .
