Default not closing pueblo to night fishing

we were told last night that the lake would not be closed to fishing at night. but there would be closing of the ramps at certian times. we will git more info later and i will post it

Good news thus far then!!!! I guess closing of the ramps wouldn't affect ya too much....but definitely good to know the times for that...

I float tube anyways....so its a moot point....

Not to get ahead of ourselves here but if they close the ramps at certain times (supposedly at night) what happens if you need to get off the lake because of a storm or some type of medical emergency. Pueblo has had some ferocious storms in the past. Telling people they have to stay on the water for a period of time might backfire. Just my opinion.

True...But am sure they wouldnt make ya sit out there if a rogue storm was coming or you were bleeding from the face

you will still be able to come in and tie up at the dock. just the ramps will be locked. as it stands now it will be locked from 11pm to 5 am

you all might as well git used to new rules. the way we have been boaring is gone. the state parks will have the least strict rules . it will be set by the owner of the water. there will be some waters where it might be 8am to 5pm and some that might inspect your boat and if it isnt clean drained and dryyou could have to wait up to 2 weeks to put your boat on. it is totaly up to the owner of the water.

another thing is look for new and restrictive rules on the use of minnows. you will not be allowed to use minows you dont have a dated recipt from a licenced inspected bait store.
