Default lake john /walden

Anyone hear of any lunkers out of Lake John or the Delaneys?

lake john has way bigger fish than the delaneys and you can use bait and the fish are easier to catch at john

I would disagree with the last post, the fish are bigger at the delaney's but harder to catch( because you can't use bait) The "average" fish we've been catching at lake john were 16-18" and going 2-3 lbs, but there are some 7lbers in there

well curtis did put in a bunch of time this summer trying to figure out some patterns there...delaney usually requires you to put in your homework...but some do get lucky, but not usualy too many times consistently...

Both Delaney Butte lakes and Lake John have big fish, but John is easier to fish...especially if you are doin a few 12 ounce reducing curls. I would much rather fish John on ice, but Delaney seems more fun with the fly in the spring.
