I saw a dude trying to sell them at a sportsmans show years ago.....he said they would cast as far as a normal 7 foot rod and were great for general all around fishing!! I nearly laughed in his face bfore saying "no thanks".

I see two problems with it one is it probibly has to much back bone and they say to hold the line or lure to cast it. I can see people tryin to get fully imbedded hooks out of there thumb or forefinger.
