Default Jackson wiper?

I seem to not be able to land a wiper at Jackson reservoir over 15 in. Anybody get into the wiper bite out there. Any bait recomended?

mussel in the inlet once the water warms will usually do the trick ,ive also done fairly well throwing white or chartruse twister tells in the inlet

yeah i;ve caught several over 20 inches there in the inlet off the dam ,north shore and spillway it wont be long

I do well with multi-species out there with a nightcrawler...................but you have to blow the worm up with air to get it to float about 1 1/2 to 2 feet off the bottom. My biggest wiper came like that from Jackson.

warmer water should be good. try mussels or shrimp

Work2fish and i pounded them pretty good a couple of years ago trolling Shallow Shad Raps in really shallow water. I think it was late May?
