Default Bass advice in Fort Collins/Loveland

I'm headed up north on wednesday and would really like to get into some bass...should i look towards the smaller ponds or hit up the bigger bodies? Dont have a boat so i'd be shore fishing.

I don't know to much about bass fishing in this area, but if I had to give advise, I'd say it's really a hit or miss, make your presentations nice a slow, tomorrow is supposed to get into the 70's to it might be a little more productive but a slow approach never hurts. I would suggest going for local ponds but in this area you can really just stop some where and if nothing happens move on. That's about all I got, good luck.

I'd say that the ponds are surely a few degrees warmer than the bigger waters................so they should have bass that are more active than the lake bass.

I used to fish Prospect Ponds in Ft. Collins a lot. I lived in Eaton, so it wasn't that far of a drive, and managed to catch some nice bass out of there. There are a lot of ponds around the area, so anywhere works. Good luck.

Prospect and Arapahoe Bend are both good spots. If you're going to be fishing in the AM, shoot me a PM, I was probably going to hit up one of those spots anyway.
