Default Alamosa area ice fishing

I was wondering if anyone knows were there is ice fishing in the Alamosa area. I heard Big meadows is game. Any help would be very nice. I brought all my gear, just need a lake.

Smith lake, Sanchez, and Home Lake. Its been warm don't know if they are still caped. The home lake I know is in Ft. Garland

I was planning on heading out there early Sunday morning, I am thinking Big meadows. What do you guys think? Will it be frozen?

Big meadows should be frozen for sure. smith mt. home and sanchez are probably iffy. Platoro you will need a wide track snowmobile to get to and possibly the same for la jara res. there is also trujillo meadows im sure is still frozen. there are a ton of places to fish in the valley so if you have any specific q's let me know!

I heard Sanchez was open by the dam with some ice still toward inlet.
