Default First Smallie of the year!

Not a monster but not bad for the first of the year. Here's the pic, I'm guessing 2-3lbs, seemed to be full of eggs, released of course:

Caught her on a Gold 1/2 oz Mimic Minnow that I tied on at random after striking out with several of my go to baits.

Sweet, but shouldn't this be in the 'reports' section?

Nice fish! Should have kept her, they taste better with the eggs in 'em!

THAT WAS A JOKE!!! RELAX PEEPS!

It could be in either but I figured I'd put it here so people wouldn't moan about lack of info. You, if anyone, would know about how they taste with eggs. I sure wouldn't and don't care to!

Nice. I nailed my first smallie last month. It seems the bigger ones are a little more active than the smaller ones. I was sight fishing to a few of em and all the smaller smallies wouldnt have nothing to do with it and the bigger ones seemed to fight over it..

Nice fish again, master angler looks like??
