Default no boating on pueblo yesterday

the lake is 5 feet from full pool, but this mornings paper showed a pic of the waves splashing over the spillway. that wind was gusting to almost 70 mph

It was so crazy yesterday. I wanted to stop and take a picture of the waves crashing over the spillway, but I didn't have my camara. It looked like the dang ocean out there! I was thinkin....that is just what we needed to turn that lake over. A good windstorm almost always does the trick!

i don't do weekends if i can help it. once in a while one of my old time fishing buddys will talk me into fishing weekends, but that is the only time they can fish. with the wind the way is was yesterday i would say the dam and points near it should show some signs of picking up. good luck out there.

I was fishing below the dam in the 90's and the waves were coming over really good... Maybe 97 98ish??
