she rescues pitbulls, so I guess that makes her evil.

Actually most of them did respect me fairly quickly because of the amount of walleyes, bass and pike I caught. That and the fact I didn't act I was better than them. The only time I almost got in a fight up there on the lake was when a boat guy (who was a rich old white guy) was crowding me out of my spot ON SHORE because I kept nailing walleye and he wasn't. He said I was fishin like a ni**er.

For all of you that are bashing me because of my opinion on that area, F U. You live in the places I did and have a positive opinion of it. Pretty tough to do considering I was once robbed at 2AM with a knife to my throat for 11 DOLLARS when I was catfishing below belleville lake dam, in CANTON, MI, no less, not Detroit.

should've been "that, and the fact that I didn't act like I was better than them." or something to read that effect...but I gotcha...I think had I called popo on the illegal activities I would've been shot before I left.

ha. I quit fighting. I think people understand that I don't think all of michigan is full of criminals but mostly the areas where I lived. I was trying to make a joke but it was definitely in poor taste.

it's ok. my taste is terrible too, and I understood what you meant. I just would have worded it differently.

I moved to CO about 1 1/2 years ago from Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Damn proud to say that I was a Yooper. However, the Michigan DNR's & government's oversight of Native American harvesting and planning of natural recourses leaves much to be desired. I work as a commercial fisherman & guide, and it is difficult to explain to clients (especially when the fish are not biting) why the gentleman a hundred yards away is allowed to lay gill nets up to and over 1 mile long where he pleases.

The tribal reference was rather slight in this article for a reason. NO NEED TO THROW GAS ON A FIRE!!!

Just ask someone from northern Minnesota!

You guys that have only know the DOW, don't know how lucky you are!

Which part makes her evil?

That she rescues pit bulls?

That she's from Michigan?

Or that she's a dominatrix?

from the responses I got in my pitbull dog-u-mentary video...    the pitbulls.

it's all good, I asked my mother in law her opinion of pitts and she told me a story of how the neighbor's pitbull happens to be best friends with the local coyotes and are known for attacking animals in the area with coyotes...  weird.  I still assert my opinion that the owners make them into dangerous animals..

she's a very mean chick. she likes to "peg" guys. and no I wouldn't know from experience.
