Default $5 to park at trail to St. Marys' Lake!

Wife and I went to hike with the dogs at the glacer but when we got to the only legal parking lot there were signs all around saying to buy $5 permit for parking. Bullshit- we went to the road up to Loch Lomond and hiked up it for free. Both gates are closed but no snow till just after the second one. We didnt make it to the lake.

Jeez, we used to drive to the lake.

Campfires and brookies. Good memories.

Pay to park, what a bunch of crap.

Didn't make it to the lake? The Loch has a tiny bit of open water I thought you'd atleast fished it:

I'm so ready for summer to hurry up and hit the high country!!!!
