Taking Kids to 11 Mile Monday

I'm hauling two 7 year old kids up to 11 Mile Lake early Monday.
Will be trying to fight them off while i'm fishing in my canoe.
Anyone have a recent report of the Lake for Trout. I plan to troll, cast and drift. Might drift with a worm if its working.

Mike-Target the pike. Easier to catch and more fun IMO. Spinnerbaits work but I've always had better luck with jerkbaits. If they're not agressive, tubes can work good.

handcuffs and gags work also, are you leaving the dogs home?

The dogs get to stay home with Mom.
Chasing Pike is a good option.
