Default Dying for Perch

I've been dying to catch some Yellow Perch. Anyone knows where I can catch some locally (Metro area)?

Where: Lake Loveland, South shore near inlet.
Species: Yellow perch
Bait: Nightcrawler -large
Water clarity: Slightly discolored
Habitat: slow moving water
Size: one 12", one 11"
Gear: Light action rod/reel combo, Eagle claw No. 6 hook, yeah I know it's not a Gammie. :P.
Slip sinker with plenty of slack.

Thanks. I thought that giving as much info would be more helpful than just saying where I caught them. -JigPig

JigPig--Impressive report! That's better than I think I've ever seen--concise and informative, like a magazine summary. Too bad I never use live bait, thought
