Default OLD FRIENDS

thought this was interesting, caught this fish friday, saw the old white spaghetti tag once out of the hole, wiped the layer of muck off of it and told my partner, cdow 2090, I've caught this fish before...hard to believe my old mind can remember some thing. When I got home I checked my records and sure enought I had caught it before on
April 19, 2006.
Details- tagged by Jake Bennett May 8 1999 26.5" long
caught - April 19 2006 37"/22lbs
March 5 2010 39.5"/23lbs

not a real fat fish but he was just average in 2006 also, 2.5" growth in 4 years. 26.5 inches when Jake caught him the first time, probably 9-10 years old then , add another 11 years, 20+ year old fish,,,,,, hope to see him again....hope you all enjoy the art work......

That is TOO COOL! Just goes to show how well catch and release does work. Can't wait to see how big it is the next time you catch her.

.

Bobco, that's very strange and funny at the same time.

[I don't know why some people keep catching the same fish, over and over.
I never do it!]

Great pictures and all.

Great fish both times Bob!!! Isn't it amazing what can come along if one has a little love and respect for the fishery! My hat's off to you for obviously having both, you deserve every big fish you get.

That is very cool Bob. What a feeling to catch a fish like that and kudos for your amazing records. I might have to start calling you The Mack Whisperer!

Prety cool stuff, nice job Bob! Catching it twice is much better than catching it once and letting it collect dust on the wall. Thanks for the release
