Default Parking A Boat on a res street in Aurora Loop Hole?

Got a notice on my boat today stating its against Aurora code to park a trailer on a public street. Its been there over a year. Anyone know anything about this?

Somebody probably called on you.I use to leave my lil boat on the street in Denver during the summer but I had a neighbor who was a witch and called the city on me.First is a warning, then a fine, next a big fine and finally court.Put your boat in your garage or parking spot, park on the street.

If you move it every other day or so like a foot or two is it still considered 'parked'??

Dude, that doesn't work, trust me... They don't care if you move it 3 yards away, it's still parked on the street...even if it's still connected, you only get 24 hours.

I used to park my boat out front of my house, but just like Lynmack said, my stupid neighbors called on me.

They usually won't tow it, and really, I have yet to get an actual ticket, they just say to get it off the street.

Sucks if you don't have a place to park it...

Sounds like big city politics, that sucks! That is why I moved away from D-town to the nice easy going, beautiful town of La Junta! You can park your boat anywhere you want. Not to mention we have pretty good fishing in all directions.

Centennial is the same way although in their defense they let me keep it out for a full week before I had to go to a tournament. Had work to do on it and no place to keep it for the immediate week. Just called and explained the situation. The guy actually talked to me for a half hour about tournament fishing. Pretty understanding.
