Default Kids pond in Longmont.

Not sure how many of you with little ones have been here, but its awesome. Its for kids 15 and under and the fishing is non-stop. Right now its just stocker action with a few small bass mixed in, but this is my sons favorite place to fish.

Here's a link.

My sons been throwing small spoons with the barbs pinched down.

Another heads up please don't hesitate to call the DOW and the police if you see people keeping more than their limit. Its sad but I've had to call multiple times for grown men bringing their kids just as a decoy for them to poach. One guy took about 30 fish....FROM A KIDS POND!!! Sorry for the rant just want to make sure this place stays great for everyones kids to enjoy.

Tight lines,
Diesel aka Eric

Hey thanks for the post. It's always good to have a spot to take the kids.

Here's a few from my little guy at the kids pond. Fishing is always non-stop for these little dudes.

I'm planning on taking my boys up there this weekend. I know that kids don't need licenses, but are they allowed to have two lines in the water? Also, anyone know if this place is handicap friendly? I.E. easy access to the water without a lot of walking?

only one line per fisherman unless they have license, walk is about 30 feet to a mille all the way around the lake. gentle slope on parking lot side.
