Default Boat Cover

I plan on picking up my new (New to me) boat tomorrow, I dont have a cover for the boat. I would like some feedback from forum members on what kind of boat cover to purchase (material). Any vendor you recommend. The boat will be stored outside.

it all depends on how much you want to spend I guess. They make universal ones you can get from bass proshops or cabelas. Just measure all the dimensions and get the one that fits best.

I have heard great things about this place > http://www.boatcovers.com/

I had a custom Sunbrella cover made for my ski boat in 2004. It has held up great (no fading, no tears), but you have to re-water proof every year which is a PITA.

This year I bought a custom fit Sharkskin cover. According to the maker, you don't have to re-water proof.

Depending on the boat, you ought to check out baldmikes.com. I've bought several things from him and his service and prices are great.

I would either buy a decent one at bass pro or get a custom one made.

And if youre storing it outside I would use a normal tar[ over it in the winter.
