Pike - Quail Lake, Skaguay, Tarryall, 11mile, and Spinney
Muskie - Pikeview, DeWeese

Off the top of my head.

Really nothing to it, just grab any old lure and throw it out there. The state is so overrun with them you can't miss

skagway, spinny, 11mile a pair of waders at the inlet of all 3 will get you in good pike country. med.size spoons and jerk bait have worked for me, also the inlet of terryall is good

Go ice fishing at 11 Mile and jig something big. They'll come in all day and stare at your offering for minutes, but never bite. Exciting yet disappointing.

Youre setting yourself up for failure.

Personally I don't feel that the rod and reel don't matter as much as the line for pike. People are always catching big pike on less than ideal gear, but it would probably easier on more adequate gear. If/when I target pike (often to no avail) I use my 7' rod with a big Mitchell spinning reel with 20 Spider Wire and a 10# Flouro leader.

And also, people catch pike on all kinds of stuff. Last fall at Spinney my bro hammered them on a 1 oz. Panther Martin, and I got jack all day on big jerks, jigs, and swimbaits.
