Default Aurora Res?

A buddy of mine and i are going to hit Aurora today around 3:45 do any of you guys know of a likely spot for perch off shore?

The only spot I caught perch from the shore is the crook in the dam. I think the perch are still pretty deep though.

Go back to Senac where the trees start. There are some pretty good dropoffs there and you can get into some pretty decent numbers of perch as they are getting ready to spawn. Small twisters and ice jigs (1/32, 1/64) under a slip float have worked great for me in the past. Good luck!

I dont know this for a fact...I thought it opened March 15th...they pick some crazy number they know will be safe and open rather than announce it is open when the ice is gone...like 99.99999999999% of the rest of the world does!...
