Default carp tournament or tour

well with all this talk about there is to many carp and shad in most of the
big bodys of water here in colorado maybe we need to start asking
the DOW if they can start having some tournaments at some of these
bodys of water so we could thin out some of the carp

two man teams two day tournament we go by how many pounds
of carp and shad the team can catch with rod and reel in two days

they give or donate all the fish caught to any one who wants it

sounds like a plan I know of a lake up north here filled with carp so many that as a matter of fact the last time I went there fishing for trout I was tossin out oh I dont remember what it was a rooster tail I believe and ended up catchin (snaggin) 5 or 6 enormous carp I didnt mean to just happened as I was doing my normal retrieve and it happened atleast 2 out of 3 times I would cast out whether I reeled them in or not was a different story I didnt know what was goin on until I finally got that first one in and realized I snagged em on the fin I didnt mind it fought harder then anything I have caught in a while (all of em did as a matter of fact) broke one of my poles that day also ....all just tryin to catch some bows they were all let go back into the water when it comes to carp I dont mind them I dont ever fish for them however I do respect them they are some hard fightin ugly lookin nasty mofos ..

sorry I got a little off topic but if ya wanna win the tourney I know where to go!
