Default Catch of the Day

We caught this guy on a 3.5" tube jig in about 90 fow of water.* It put up one hell of a fight!* Actually we found this guy in the mouth of a laker. Anyone know what kind of fish this is? Kinda cool to see what they were eating.

Shad/shiner maybe.. The back end looks a little funky but then again its been in a laker stomach..

Kokanee? Fillet him out and see if the meat is pink. LOL

I am thinking kokanee also. Those and suckers are the most common when you are
pulling lakers from down deep.

We got the fish out of a lakers mouth we caught at green mt. Took the little guy hooked em and caught a fish with him.

looks like some sort of minow/shinner not a shad for shure and the mouth looks to small and the wrong shape for a kokanee

here's a baby koke for comparison

I'm guessing shad...prolly someone used him for bait at one point........
