Default Need Rifle Gap info please.

Taking some friends to Rifle Gap in three weeks to fish for perch. Is there a area of the lake that is best to target perch. I fished it once and caught a lot of trout but only a few perch. PM me if you can help. We will probably have all of the baits needed.

Don't fish where everyone else is fishing! You might have to go deeper than you think for quality perch.

This! People seem to think that there are only fish under the clusters of anglers...spread out a bit and keep moving until you find them. I caught lots of perch at both ends of the lake this fall, so I don't think it matters much, but then again I don't have much experience there.

There is perch all over the lake. Take a sonar and if you're not on em move till you find em.

I will be there the weekend of the tourney but will probably fish Harvey Gap that day. To you people that fish there alot which lake would be best for perch, Harvey or Rifle Gap.

Right now, Harvey. later, Rifle Gap. I'll be there for the tourney too. Get in touch with me before hand and I'll give you some info on my pre-tourney trips.

RG doesn't seem to be fishing as well as in past years but there are still places I won't walk out there till the ice grts a little better. The quality is great but the numbers are down so far, at least for me and what I have noticed.
